The Starfish Fund
Our Starfish Fund helps those sponsored children who have medical needs or where help is needed in emergencies.
There were thousands of starfish perishing on a beach. As the young boy threw them back into the ocean, a skeptical man wondered how the boy could make a difference by what he was doing. Throwing one more starfish back the youngster replied, “It makes a difference to this one!”
Yes, the problems seem sometimes overwhelming. But we tackle them “one at a time.” One person cannot do very much, but if we work together, we can accomplish a great deal.
This is why we started the Starfish Fund some years ago. Our friends give what they can, so that we can pay for the medical cost of the children in our care. One person alone cannot do it, but together we can make a difference one child at a time!
